trapped

Everyone else gets to go away. Okay, not everyone, but it feels like it sometimes, with all of my friends talking about upcoming travels within the next year or so, including a band and chorale trip at school to China. China! Very exciting, sure, but me? I’m not musical, and therefore stuck here. There are lots of other opportunities I missed, too, for various reasons. But all you really need to know is that I feel like I, at least as much as anyone else, more than many people, really need, for my own well-being, to get out of here, at least for a little while, but, no, I’m trapped. Forever, it seems like, even though logically I know it’s not really forever. It still sucks, though.
